Sam Bob is from Nanoose Bay band and has performed nationally in television, film and theatre productions. He is a Jessie Richardson Best Actor nominee for his role in Headline Theatre’s “Out of the Silence”, and was nominated Best Actor at the Edmonton Dreamspeaker’s Film Festival for his performance in Dana Claxton’s film “The Red Paper.” He has a recurring role in the comedy series “Health Nut’z” for APTN, can be seen in the television sci-fi hit “Fringe”, and a music video for Frog Girl Productions directed by Marie Clements. Sam’s true reward from working in the arts comes from his active participation with, and mentoring of, First Nations youth who are endeavouring to be actors, writers and directors.
